On the Move

Wedding Bells!

Wedding bells? Who me? At my age? 🤣 🤣

Cara and Zan

Noooo, my nephew, Zan (whose name is Alexander but I’ve always called him Zan) and his lovely fiancé Cara are tying the knot at Stone House on Stirling Ridge in New Jersey on Saturday and I, happily, have been invited. I’m looking forward to spending time with my daughter who is coming from San Francisco and my sisters and their families. It’s not often we get together, and the pandemic has made it more difficult.

So I’m adding to my COVID test count and spending five days with my sister in Princeton, NJ. Then I’m gonna wander around New York City with my camera for a couple of weeks.

A few years ago I found a small box of annotated New York city walks in Book Warehouse, and bought them on a whim. When my daughter took me to New York for my (ahem!) 70th birthday, we went on three of them. I’ve since been wanting to go back to start on the other 47. Happily my sister Shirley is planning to join me for a few.

I have other NYC plans too – museums, a Broadway show, a studio taping, bagels. I hope you’lll come along with me. See you soon!

Glad to see you’re blogging again! I have to make a trip back to Massachusetts because my childhood friend’s mom is dying. I hope to catch up with you in NYC. We shall see how the time unfolds. Have a wonderful time with your family. I hope the beautiful weather holds out for you.
