On the Move

Mexican Vacay

A cold rainy November escape to Mexico? Beaches, body surfing and drinks containing fruit and tiny umbrellas around the pool? Think again!

I am travelling with my daughter Gillian, my son-in-law Derek, and my two grandsons – Alistair 9 years old and Graham 7 – to Oaxaca for three nights and Mexico City for four. We are in search of ruins, culture and great food.

Oaxaca is known for its nearby ruins at Monte Albán and for being a foody city. Yum! Mexico City will be lively. Aero Mexico sent us emails with “some advices for your journey” – due to “holydays and concerts” the City will be jumping. Fun!

I hope you will enjoy this slice of Mexico with me. And that you are keeping well as are we. ¡Hasta la vista!
